Roadmap | The W3Smart Wallet future

Phase 1- 2023 Q3

In this inaugural phase, our primary focus will be on designing a wallet with account abstraction, tailored to the specific needs of the Web3 community, with a particular emphasis on the gaming and social finance (socialfi) sectors. The wallet will incorporate an array of features to elevate user experiences within these dynamic domains.

Phase 2 - 2023 Q4

Building upon the accomplishments of the Game Wallet, we will expand its versatility by seamlessly integrating web2 payment services. This enhancement will empower everyday users to conduct fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat transactions with ease. Additionally, we will create a software development kit (SDK) to simplify the wallet's integration with various decentralized applications (dApps).

Phase 3 - 2024 Q1

In this pivotal phase, we will propel the wallet to new heights by transforming it into a Galaxy Wallet, harnessing the potential of Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) standards. This transformation will facilitate cross-chain payments and extend the wallet's reach to web2 services and dApps, streamlining user interactions. Users will have the freedom to select their preferred payment methods across different blockchains or even traditional banking services.

Phase 4 - 2024 Q2

A cornerstone of our strategy will be the collaboration with vendors. This partnership will enable users to purchase an extensive range of goods and services, including but not limited to movie tickets, travel accommodations, and utility bill payments. Our aspiration is to make this wallet an indispensable tool, seamlessly connecting users with essential services, thus becoming an integral part of their daily lives.

Phase 5 - 2024 Q3

In this newly introduced Phase 5, we will focus on the development of financial products within the wallet or integration with web2 and web3 financial products (DeFi). Our objective is to attract more capital flows, transforming the wallet into a comprehensive asset management hub. Users will have the ability to not only transact but also manage and grow their assets within the wallet.

Phase 6 - 2024 Q4

Recognizing the importance of user engagement and the need for an expansive feature set, we will reintroduce Phase 6. In this phase, users will have the power to effortlessly integrate DApps directly into the wallet, even prior to official vetting. For officially endorsed vendors within the wallet, we will conduct rigorous security checks to ensure user safety. Additionally, we will introduce an extension marketplace adhering to the ERC-6900 standard. The wallet will also undergo a restructuring in accordance with the ERC-2535 standard, providing users with unparalleled flexibility to customize their wallet by adding or removing specific features, creating a streamlined and personalized experience. Moreover, this extension marketplace will serve as a platform for extension developers to contribute exciting open-source features, earning additional income and further solidifying the wallet's position as an industry leader.
